Toyota volunteers conceived and are building Skydrive “flying car”<\/p><\/div>\n

Cartivator Resource Management (CRM) describes itself as \u201cmainly young engineers and venture parties\u201d volunteering, \u201cTo carry out the development of the flying car\u201d with the aim of lighting the torch at the Tokyo Olympic Games and Paralympic Games opening ceremony of 2020.\u00a0 The team pledges, \u201cWe will work to accelerate the further technology development.\u201d<\/p>\n

One of Cartivator\u2019s promotional videos shows a couple using the vehicle to dodge fallen trees, narrow roads, and allow grandma to visit the grandkids in a distant valley. \u00a0Rural roads in Japan are tough going.<\/p>\n
