This feature enhances the flying experience, providing a sensation similar to that of travelling by car or bus from a dynamic point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Aerotaxi has been developed by Tecnalia, \u201cTo travel in cities autonomously for the transfer of a person and cover urban distances of 15 kilometers (9.3 miles).\u201d\u00a0 These may sound like small goals, but they allow for smaller aircraft, lower weights, and smaller battery packs \u2013 a kind of virtuous cycle.\u00a0 Tecnalia explains this downsizing by noting that 15 kilometers will cover the transportation needs of 85-percent of all cities in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Tecnalia reports, &#8220;Agust\u00edn J. S\u00e1enz, the Deputy Director or Tecnalia\u2019s Market division says, &#8216;it is a milestone in the Urban Air Mobility field, which positions us as pioneers in Europe together with Germany and has turned us into a world leader&#8230;. This is a new aircraft concept that could be scaled from one to four passengers depending on the integration demanded in each city and for each service.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"TECNALIA y la aeron\u00e1utica del futuro en Le Bourget\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/N2pWigwMoAs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Aerotaxi was not the only presentation by Tecnalia at Le Bourget.\u00a0 Besides their aerial taxi, they showed, \u201cNew architectures with more distributed electric propulsion;
