Fixed-wing drones flying with <a href=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/zipline-drones-use-modularity-simplicity-to-deliver-healthcare\/\">Zipline in Rwanda<\/a> deliver clinical samples and blood 80 kilometers (49.6 miles) each way out and return.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_14632\" style=\"width: 538px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sustainableskies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Guinn-H2-Drone-DS30.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14632\" class=\"size-large wp-image-14632\" src=\"http:\/\/sustainableskies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Guinn-H2-Drone-DS30-528x396.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"396\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-14632\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">DMI DS-30 drone at recent Guinn Partners meeting<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Doosan Mobility Innovations (DMI) DS-30 drone is a large machine able to carry a 10.8 liter, 4.3 kilogram (9.46 pound) compressed hydrogen container \u2013 good enough for two hours endurance.\u00a0 \u00a0There was 30 minutes\u2019 supply left in the tank when the drone landed on St. Croix. \u00a0\u00a0The machine can carry up to a five-kilogram (11-pound) payload.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Doosan Dealer Launch with Colin Guinn | #PropellerHeadsTV\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kGroNmhG6oY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Members of Guinn Partners worked with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doosanmobility.com\/en\/\">Doosan Mobility Innovations,<\/a> in collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyfireconsulting.com\/\">Skyfire Consulting,<\/a> and the US Department of Health, to execute the delivery.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"(PT Film) Doosan Mobility Innovation_English (HYDROGEN FUEL CELL DRONE \/ \uc218\uc18c\uc5f0\ub8cc\uc804\uc9c0 \ub4dc\ub860)\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/A9rjEASZiz0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The DS-30\u2019s capabilities can be a literal life-saver for patients.\u00a0 <em>NewAtlas<\/em> reports, \u201cAccording to Guinn Partners, it can ordinarily take up to a week before patients&#8217; biological fluid samples are transported between the two islands by manned aircraft \u2013 in the case of illnesses such as Dengue fever, the infection can progress to dangerous levels within that amount of time.
