The contra-rotating propellers gave a good performance judging from the in-flight video.<\/p>\n<p>EADS&#8217; 60 total horsepower gave it a top speed of 141 miles per hour, but that was eclipsed by another electric Cri Cri, this one with\u00a0a single 25-horsepower\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.electravia.fr\/mc15e.html\">Electravia brushed motor <\/a>on each stalk.\u00a0 Bigger motors swinging bigger propellers gave it a speed advantage and a\u00a0world record of 262 kilometers per hour (162.44 miles per hour)\u00a0,\u00a0easily topping\u00a0the Italian\u00a0ENFICA-FC&#8217;s 135km\/hr (83.7 mph) set earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_2106\" style=\"width: 538px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2106\" href=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/?attachment_id=2106\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2106\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2106 \" title=\"electric cri cri\" src=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/electric-cri-cri-528x620.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"620\" srcset=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/electric-cri-cri-528x620.jpg 528w, http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/electric-cri-cri-255x300.jpg 255w, http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/electric-cri-cri.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 528px) 100vw, 528px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-2106\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A euphoric Hugues Duval celebrates going 262 km\/hr in E-Cristaline.
