wave<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cMy batteries are very old and cold, but I still got high enough to connect with the wave, which went on forever.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7441\" style=\"width: 479px\" clouds in the distance<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cTaxing was tricky because of big lumps of snow, so I landed downwind, as the taxiway is not cleared.<\/p>\n<p>Both his<a href=\"http:\/\/www.solar-flight.com\/news.html\"> Solar Flight website News and Blog<\/a> show more, including the construction of the Sunseeker Duo, the world\u2019s first two-seat solar-powered airplane.<\/p>\n<p>One blog entry in particular, shows <a href=\"http:\/\/solar-flight.com\/blog_new\/?p=215\">a flight from Slovenj Gradec to Lesce Bled airport<\/a>, on its way to Switzerland for an airshow. \u00a0He topped Mount Triglav, the highest peak in Slovenia, and flew with Sierra India, a local ASH-25 sailplane.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"text-align: center;\" href=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/?attachment_id=7443\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7443\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-7443 aligncenter\" title=\"ER Duo\" src=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/ER-Duo1-528x350.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"350\" aligncenter\" style=\"width: 538px;\">\n<dd class=\"wp-caption-dd\">Sunseeker Duo, late in its construction. It now has gear and systems installed, but needs more to make its initial flights<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<p>As a reminder that he\u2019s still working on the <a href=\"http:\/\/cafe.foundation\/blog\/?p=6959\">Sunseeker Duo<\/a>, he notes that he is looking forward to flying it this year, although it will be, \u201dFar from fully equipped for the long voyages I want to take with my wife.\u201d\u00a0The team still needs instruments and the panel is far from equipped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor one thing, I want to equip it with 2 fully-redundant Mountain High oxygen systems, and blood oxygen monitors, so we are fully covered.\u00a0 Already the SUNSEEKER II can climb high enough to kill me, and I don&#8217;t trust being alone up there, without more backups.\u00a0 I have one oxygen system in it, but sometimes it seems so smooth and unreal, I question if everything is OK, and it takes so long to get down\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the SUNSEEKER II it is always possible to stay up into the dark, but it is boring after a while all alone.
